Citi Field will be open to the public for the first time on March 29, 2009


The New York Mets will open Citi Field to the public for the first time on March 29 2009 at 1:10 pm with a Big East College baseball game between St John's University and Georgetown University.

There will be a limited number of tickets for $5 each which will go on sale Monday, March 2 2009 on Mets.com. The Mets will play Boston Redsox at Citi Field, Friday, April 3 at 6:10 PM and Saturday, April 4 at 1:10 PM. Get your tickets at Mets.com.

The Mets will begin the 2009 regular season April 6 in Cincinnati, then Florida on the road. They will be back in Citi Field for their home opening, Monday April 13 at 7:10 PM vs San Diego. Get your tickets at Mets.com

2009 Preseason New York Mets and New York Yankees



Get your 2009 Preseason New York Mets and New York Yankees now. Get to ready to pay more than twice their face value. Althought the preseason games are insignificant and doesnt count, people want them beacaue they will be the first game in the brand new state of the art Stadium of the New York Yankees and new York Mets.
